They tried to turn this poor cat into a block of concrete!!!

Cats love their coats. Their spend hours each day lovingly and lavishly grooming and cleaning.

But no matter how much cleaning, there are some things that just cannot be removed, like this coat of concrete that someone pour on this poor hapless cat.

Grant the cat arrived at the vet matted in concrete, whether someone thought it would be funny, or wanted to harm him, or simply an accident by misadventure, no one knows. But none of the medical staff could find a way to remove the concrete from his fur.

The only thing to do was an all over body shave. Concrete is alkaline based and toxic to cats, powder had gotten into Grant's eyes, and he could barely see.

With a lot of patience, it was possible to treat Grant, who is fine now, just a wee bit colder no doubt.

Grant's coat will regrow with time, but in the meantime lets hope whoever was responsible for this gets some karma back.

Thankfully this wasn't one of Grant's nine lives used, thanks to the dedication of the staff in Bristol, England.
